Gotta say though, I utterly adore the lighting work here. I don't know art terms because I'm a silly sausage but everything shading and lighting wise here just coalesces into... something beautiful. Can't really name it. But I love it and I love you, you're an utter delight to this world and I'm so grateful for all your work Wolfarion! <3

Sorry for the late reply — I don't show up here that often. Mostly for business. Like many times before, I can say that a lot in this drawing could have been done better. Except for the eyes. I like the eyes. But to see progress, I think I need to take some old but good piece and try to redraw it. To really see the growth of my own skill. Still, one must not forget that practice moves us forward, more or less. In any case, the work conveys the original idea well, so it's all good, I think :) Thank you for your kind words, it's nice to hear such appreciation of my work ^^

Those eyes really do stand out and I'm so glad you enjoy them too. It's good to reflect on old work and see where you can improve as it does tell the story of how you have grown and changed over time, but at the same time - the art is still beautiful, and was still the best when you first made it. It's a reflection of time, something you can now observe that you couldn't at the time.
