“Test subject 3 you have been chosen for testing!”
I groan and stand on stiff weak legs as my cage door flies open. As with every testing session a metal wire circle is placed around my neck and pulled using a long pole.
“Brother? Where are you going?”
My attention is suddenly switched to the cell next to me, where my younger sister, 4, is sitting, staring wide-eyed at me. Her collar is too big on her, and her ribs are showing a little.
“It's ok 4. It's ok. I'll come back to you I promise. Stay with 13 ok? He'll protect you”
4 turns around and sees an older dog with a 13 on his collar tag and goes and sits next to him.
“Come on,” the guard says as he yanks hard on the wire, making me jerk backwards, the wire digging into my neck.
A short while later I'm brought into the room all of us dread but are used to, the testing chamber. I'm grabbed by my ears, yanked up and slammed down on my.
back onto the cold metal table. The impact winds me and makes me more focused on trying to breathe rather than realise I'm getting my whole body strapped down with thick leather straps.
“Test subject three! You have been selected for testing. Today's test will test how big your stomach is.”
I look right and see a guard walk towards me with some kind of metal object with straps on it. They go to open my mouth but I shake my head and bite their hand.
“AAH YOU FUCKER!” the guard shouts before punching me hard in the muzzle, making a tooth fly out. In my brief distraction, my jaw is yanked open much wider than it's supposed to and a thick 2-inch wide tube is rammed down my throat. I thrash about against the leather straps as I feel the tube go as far as it can because of its thickness and the different size of my throat. Tears fill my eyes as the guard pulls the tube out a little and tries again multiple times. It suddenly jerks downwards and I feel my throat shut down, I thrash even more as i realise I can't breathe. After a few moments, I start to black out from lack of oxygen.
“You're doing it wrong, give it here!” and offer more experienced guard orders. Pushing the other guard away he takes the tube, yanks it up out of my windpipe and out my throat completely. The small mercy makes me gasp as air returns into my lungs. He then pushes the tube down hard back down my throat. My body shakes in agony as the tube, clearly too big, slowly and painfully gets forced down my throat inch by inch. I take a glance at a mirror and see my throat bulge from the tube. After a few moments, I feel the tube in my stomach. My nostrils flare as I try to breathe through my nose. It's difficult but possible.
I look around, eyes wide as a bucket of water is carried over. A large funnel is placed at the tube entrance
“Test subject 3 has been chosen to undergo water testing. We will see how durable its stomach is” I hear someone say. I look to the left and see a camera pointing at me.
The young guard from before lifts the bucket up and prepares to pour it down the funnel. Time seems to slow down as it's tipped. I watch as it's tilted further and further over till it starts to flow out. I let out a groan of pain as 50°C/122°F water is poured straight on my head
“You fucking idiot!” One guard shouts as he pushes the younger guard away. Grabbing the new bucket he then pours the water down the funnel into my stomach.
I let out a scream as my stomach felt like it was on fire. I feel my stomach expand more and more. Far beyond what it's supposed to be. I glance down and see my belly is now inflated quite a bit. I almost look pregnant. I start struggling to breathe as my stomach reaches the physical limit and the hot water starts filling up my throat before it starts to fill up the funnel and spill over
“Test subject 3 has taken 2 litres of water before it overflowed. We will now extract the water from him”
In my current state, I don't hear what they say. Next thing I know the tube is ripped violently from my throat. Blood-stained water coats the tube and I instinctively take a breath. Big mistake. The hot water floods my windpipe and I cough violently trying to get it out. I'm unstrapped and picked up before I'm violently thrown on the floor and kicked hard in the belly. A few moments later I violently threw up water and blood before collapsing on the floor. Just before I black out I'm grabbed by my ears and dragged back to my cell. Once I'm in the small iron cage they slam the door shut. I let out a yelp of pain as it closed right on my tail.
“Oops,” the guard says with no remorse. He then opens the door and kicks me square in between the rear legs before slamming the door shut behind him. A few moments later a single strip of bacon is thrown at me.
“3? Are you ok?” I hear a voice call out as I hear the sound of small paws running towards me. I go to reply but all that comes out is a dried horse worn out voice. Probably because of the tube.
“I'm OK 4. Just got a sore throat that's all”
I pick up the bacon in my mouth and slowly walk to the corner of the cell where I sleep. Exhausted from the session I simply flop on the floor. A few moments later, I feel small paws running to me. In my exhausted state, I divide the strip of bacon into 2 bits. The larger bit, which is about ¾ of the strip, I hand over to 4 who lets out a soft whimper and scoffs it down. I force myself to eat the small bit I have. As I close my eyes I begin to feel 4 snuggle to me. I crack open my eyes and look down to see my sister snuggled up to my sore slightly inflated belly. Even through all this discomfort, I do my best to curl up protectively around her, like I do every night.
“Night brother” 4 whispers as the lights shut off with a sharp sound
My throat is still sore so I simply nuzzle her then lie on the ground and do my best to sleep on an empty stomach, wondering if me and my sister will ever be free from this hell hole
