This is what i've been talking about recently!
Noelle being the actual girl hero and susie is a bit of a mistake in the timeline.
A good mistake maybe but yeah.

Also perhaps the second hero is meant to be Dess?

I have a theory that Kris, Dess and Asriel were the first heros to enter the dark world when Kris was a kid.
But they were too young, Kris was too weak, and it all fell to shit. Dess was lost to the Dark from this and became the Knight.
Kris has canonically been in a mental hospital for some time from seeing a massive traumatic event.
And when you first enter the dark world in C1, your save slot already has a dark world save in it... so... yeah.

My problem with this theory is that the girl in the prophecy portrait looks nothing like Noelle. You can debate that the hair is similar, but the girl on the property has a snoot while Noelle doesn't, and the girl in the prophecy lacks antlers. Every other prophecy murals seems to be pretty literal even when the text is non-literal. (Literally just Jockeyingtin with a beard is depicted in "Jockeyingtin grows the beard", the "Queen's chariot" is depicted as Queen's car, the "lord of the screens" is a TV, the "flower man" is literally just Asgore, "the cage" is depicted as the soul with Kris's arms around it (though that one could just as easily be the vessel's arms), the "pointed headed" one is literally just Lancer, so what are so forth.)

If "the girl" in the prophecy is Noelle, then it would literally be the one singular only time that the imagery of the mural has nothing to do with the character being described in the associated text, the literal only time a character described in the prophecy is depicted in any way other than what they actually looked like at some point, which would literally serve no purpose other than to mislead people actually paying attention. And that's frankly just bad writing.

Literally the only point going in the favor of Noelle over Susie is the fact that Susie has no equipable swords, but if you hacked the game to have Noelle in your party during chapter 4 she can equip the black shard and jingle blade. But the problem with this is that there's no reason to assume Susie couldn't equip a sword if she wanted to. Susie literally starts the game equipped with the mane axe, but you are mechanically incapable of reflipping it to her once she equips any other weapon, and the flavor text for this is just her saying "no way", making it clear that she could wield it again if you wanted to, but choose is not to. The same goes for the ribbons, does nothing physically stopping her from wearing them, she just refuses too because she thinks they're lame.

It's not like Susie is metaphysically incapable of equipping swords through some weird law of the universe, what items characters can and can't equip is to turn through a combination of what is physically possible and the character's personal preference. If you get these suspicious controller, and then use it for the initial parental lock puzzle, she'll even comment that she thinks it's cool that Kris's character can have a sword, which would seem to indicate she does think swords are neat, but simply chooses not to equip the ones we've seen so far, possibly because they're too small for her (I mean: have you seen the size of her ax?). Maybe they'll eventually be a really big sword (perhaps even too big for Kris to wield) that Susie will be able to equip. Or perhaps she'll even be able to turn her axes into swords (in the same way Kris can turn their sword into a shield). So the sword in the mural is honestly the weakest point of evidence possible. I mean, are we to believe that Noelle will get plastic surgery or something to change the shape of her head at some point, but Susie can't just pick up a sword?

I would seriously go as far as to say it's impossible for Noelle to be the girl. If we only had the text there would be something there, but the murals make it actually impossible for it to be her. This theory was decirmed the moment we got the piece of evidence that people cite to support it.

(Also: hi there! Neat to see you.)

The thing is, none of the heros actually look like the main characters in the prophesy murals.

Noelle can't just equip swords. The ribbon armors you find can be equipped to her, but not susie.
While ralsei mentions that, according to his info on the prophesy, the girl hero should be able to equip ribbons.
Noelle also mentions that the ribbons you find are extremely nostalgic and familiar to her.

In chapter 1, Kris was about to be the third wheel in Noelle and Berdly's group. But susie interrupts.
Based on Alphyus's dialogue on "the last one to arrive does stuff" that would mean, Noelle and Kris should have gone to the storage closet together. In C1 Susie also defies all explanation and expectation of being a Destined Hero, such as joining the villain team multiple times and never playing the role she's supposedly is supposed to fit.

Ralsei is shown to be aware of the Weird Route.
And the Weird Route shows Noelle having so much power in the dark world that she could solo the Knight...
Which to me at least would imply her being some kind of powerful, heroic figure. Because why else is she stronger than ralsei, kris and susie put together?
In the Weird Route we also have some sort of possible hint to the Soul trying to take over her.
Which would actually perfectly match the Prophesy mural of the Girl with a Heart shaped object inside of her.

I can go on but those are some points to start.

Those are interesting points.

Noelle keeps a pair of Angel wings in her closet at home and secretly wears them when she's alone in the house.
The Soul is said to be the Angel, and once the Soul merges with the Girl, that would make them the Complete Angel.
Fitting for the Girl who literally wears angel wings in secret because she has an odd affinity for them.

There's a video by Dark Chestnut that goes over how both the player and the well are collectively the angel, and draws a comparison to the Holy Trinity. What I called it was a direct quote from the thumbnail.

well the thing is the snowgrave route is suppose to be the actual prophecy which means the normal one is a false one meant to change the ending of what happens since the story has been played out before
