Phil was a superstar football player known for his impressive catches and cocksure attitude off the field. Hot out of college, he was primed to shatter touchdown records in his first season with the national league. Unknown to his teammates, Phil’s impressive performance was aided by small doses of a gene enhancing serum from one of the wide receiver's newer sponsors, Feral Labs. After multiple fines for unsportsmanlike conduct and physical altercations with his teammates, Phil began to blame his failures on Feral Lab’s ‘defective product’. Dr. Moreau promised the aggrieved football player that after a visit to his island resort, Phil would receive an improved version of the serum with more noticeable results.
Once he arrived on the Island, Phil was given the new serum...and boy did it deliver on more noticeable results! Red scales and spikes started growing all over his face and hands, yellow scales formed on his growing neck, and...a strange growth was forming on both of his shoulders, poking its way out from his expensive letter jacket! As his eyes began to change from blue to yellow-green, Phil gave one of the emerging bumps a poke with his changing hand. What the hell even was that?!?
Phil took off his jacket to prevent it from getting damaged even further, and the changes continued to accelerate! Two smaller versions of his now-draconic head burst through the shoulders of his football jersey triumphantly, while Phil could only look on in shock! The rest of his jersey began to rip apart as his body bulked up, large scales formed on his arms, and two tiny wings grew behind him!
Phil closed his eyes and screamed in pain as his body continued to bulk up and his wings grew larger, shredding what remained of his jersey! He was almost fully draconic at this point, with large spikes down his back, red scales all over his body, and blonde highlights forming in his hair.
Finally, Phil stood tall as a three-headed hydra, feeling stronger and more ferocious than ever! Not quite sure they'd want him back on the football field like this, though....
