Or to Darrell, anyway. I'm a month late in posting this, but so what?
Techincally, Darrell's birthday actually isn't until October 25th, but let's just fast forward from January 8th to there for Darrell's sake. In case you're wondering what the gift is,
Thanks, Beef, but my birthday was a month ago, remember? And I don't think you should wish Lil' Dimebag here a happy one until October. But we both thank you. :-)

That's right. I got a bunch of presents actually. Check my 70 Questions Meme journal to see exactly what I got. But yeah, Darrell technically didn't get his yet if we're going by real time. Of course, I would think that since Launny is from Brazil (well, her maker is, anyway, just like I assume Unistar's character is from Norway like his maker is), (The?) Nine Inch Nails aren't nearly as popular over there as they are here in America. That said, Darrell had to tell Launny the NIN ensemble is what he wanted her to get him, even though Launny has no clue who NIN are because of her cultural barrier. Just like Darrell wouldn't know who a Brazilian pop star is even if Launny told him he or she was her favorite. With that in mind, I'm pretty sure Launny's maker isn't a headbanger. You understand.
Perhaps I'm overthinking this just a bit...

Actually, I've never even heard of Vio-lence until now. Thanks for turning me on to them, though. They're awesome. But I've heard of Machine Head; I've just never heard any of their songs, unfortunately. I know there's a song by Bush called "Machinehead" which is probably where the band took its name from (don't quote me on that; I know as much about Machine Head as I do about how to perform open heart surgery). But if Machine Head is also thrash metal, I'll add them to my queue of bands to check out as well. ;-D

They could have, also, gotten it from the Deep Purple album Machine Head. That album has Highway Star and Smoke on the Water on it, two timeless classics.
You are welcome. I love sharing my music. They could have, also, gotten it from the Deep Purple alb
