It is the end of a school day when two cubs are still playing on the school playground, which existed due to the school being K to twelve. The older one is a fourteen year old brown bear named Daniël, while the younger one is a twelve year old panther named Percy.
The panther, despite being twelve, was already in ninth grade. He suffered from high blood pressure, and therefore had to take diuretics. This results in more accidents, and as a precaution, he wears pull-ups.
The two are currently playing at the swings, Where both of them are competing to see who can swing the highest.
“Shame that Benji’s sick today,” Daniel states.
“Yeah,” Percy agrees. “I really hope he gets well soon,”
As the two continue playing, a new cub appears. He’s a Cougar named Connor, with a tawny fur coat, brown eyes, and a long, rounded tail. He is thirteen years old. “Hi there!” He shyly greets the two cubs.
“Hello!” Says Daniël
“Hi!” Chirps Percy, who stops swinging. “How are you?”
“D-doing all right,” Connor starts stuttering. He then turns towards Percy specifically. “A-are you a-a friend of dorothy?”

“Friend of who?” Percy asks in reply, confused.
Daniël also slows down now, and whispers something into the panther’s ears.
“Ooohh…” Percy replies. “I… uhhh…”
“It’s all right if you’re not,” Connor replies, sounding apologetically as he turns beet red.
“N-no it’s fine, really,” Percy says. “I’ve just never been asked out before. But I could try.”
“A-are you sure?” Connor asks, not wanting a date out of pity.
“Yup, sure,” Percy replies, flashing an adorable smile.
“All right then,” The cougar chips. “T-tomorrow at m-my family’s restaurant?” He asks.
“Sounds great,” The panther nods.
“Great!” Connor replies. Not long after, he’s picked up by his parents.
“Seems like you got a date,” Daniël grins.
“Yeah,” Percy nods excitedly, though that soon vanishes. “Wh-what if he finds out about m-my diapers?”
“Well if and only if he finds out, then I’m sure he’ll be nice,” The bear reasons.
“All right then, thanks…” Percy feigns comfort, but is in reality still nervous.

Later in the day, at the dinner table, the little brother sits down next to his fifteen-year old brother who’s a panther named Pierre, his father, a panther named Peter, and his step-mom, who is an otter named Olivia. His stepbrother Oscar is currently on a sleepover at a friend’s house.
“So… Percy, did anything interesting happen today?” Peter curiously asks.
“Well uhh… someone at school asked me on a date… and I said yes,” Percy mumbles. “I-is th-that okay?
Peter grins slightly. “Sure buddy,” He nods, knowing that Percy’s too young for any ‘date’ to be more than just an innocent meeting.
Pierre however starts laughing. “Now which girl would want to go on a date with a diapered little baby?”
Percy starts blushing. “Uhhh…”
“Now Pierre, behave!” Peter scolds his older son.
“Sorry dad,” Pierre replies, not with his usual sarcasm as he doesn’t want to get into trouble.
“Now Percy, what’s her name?” Olivia asks.
The panther gulps a little. “Uhh… h-his name is Connor…” He mumbles, hoping to not get in trouble.
Both parents were taken a bit by surprise, but were otherwise accepting. “All right then.” Peter says
“Where will the date be?” Olivia asks.
“At the restaurant belonging to his family,” Percy replies. “The place across the street from school.”
“Oh that place,” Olivia quickly recognises the place. “Lovely family,”
“G-great to hear,” Percy smiles a little.
The family soon finishes their meals, and after homework, both panther cubs are off to bed.
“So how are you planning to keep being in diapers a secret? Pierre snorts in derision.
“I dunno,” Percy mumbles.
“I bet he no longer wants to talk to you once he knows that you are a piddle-pants.
“Shuttup!” Percy replies as he tries to fall asleep, though he notices that Pierre starts sniffing around.
“He’ll stop being your boyfriend real quick if you piddle yourself this quickly,” The older panther snickers once being certain that Percy was peeing himself.
Percy blushes, but can’t help but worry that Pierre is right. He doesn’t fall asleep, and just continues twisting and turning until it is time to get up and get ready for school.
…
Once the school day has ended, Percy goes to get changed, and afterwards walks up towards the soccer field, where Connor was playing. Once the furry Cougar notices the panther, he says goodbye to his friends, and walks up towards Percy. “H-hello t-there,” He blushes.
Percy can’t help but blush a little, yet still smiles slightly. “H-hi Connor.” He gives Connor a slight nuzzle.
Connor simultaneously grins from ear to ear, and turns beet red from the act of affection. “Ummm… ummm… Ready t-to go?”
“Uhh sure,” Percy replies awkwardly. “I-I… I mean, yeah. Sorry,”
“It’s all right,” Connor’s blush worsens. “C-can I hold your paw?”
“Yes please,” Percy nods, reaching for Connor’s paw as his tail wags slightly.
The Cougar smiles when seeing the panther wag his tail, and takes his paw before leading him towards his restaurant. Unbeknownst to Percy, Connor spots the waistband of Percy’s pull-up peeking out of his shorts, and his smile grows, albeit it be an innocent smile rather than a teasing one.
…
Once the two cubs make it to the restaurant, the hostess, Connor’s two year older sister Celine welcomes them. “You already have another date? Yesterday you were with someone.” She states, while looking at Connor.
Percy looks a tad bit shocked, while Connor’s face, which has turned back tawny a bit ago, is back to being pink. “She’s joking! Celine, tell Percy that you’re joking!”
“Am I?” Celine starts pondering.
“C-celine!” Connor looks embarrassed at this point.
“All right, fine, I’m joking!” Celine confesses.
“Thank you!” Connor replies, his tone annoyed and biting.
“You’re welcome,” Celine smirks.
Percy just stands there awkwardly during the sibling interaction. “Uhmm…”
“Oh yeah,” Celine got back to work. “You two reserved a booth?”
“Yeah! I told you yesterday when you agreed to take over my shift,” Connor frowns.
“You know that the policy is to kick out guests who are rude right?” Celine states.
“You wouldn’t dare,” Connor replies, his hands holding onto a now-trembling panther.
“Yes I would,” Celine grins.
“Please don’t,” Connor replies, now pleading.
“Okay fine,” Celine led her brother and Percy towards their table. “Here you go,”
“T-thanks,” Percy stammers.
“No worries,” Celine smiles. “You seem like a nice kid, though I’m not sure what you’re seeing in my brother,”
“Bye Celine,” Connor shoos his sister away.
Celine giggles and goes back towards the hostess’ stand. “Sorry about her,” Connor states.
“I-it’s all right,” Percy mumbles. “Thanks for the date,”
“The pleasure is mine,” Connor replies, and gives Percy a nuzzle, causing the panther to blush yet smile.
Soon the waiter, presumingly a younger sibling of Connor as he seems the same age as Percy, hands out the menu card.
“Thank you,” Percy smiles.
“You’re welcome,” the cub replies, before going towards other tables.
“What do you wanna eat, baby?” Connor asks the panther.
“I’m no baby,” Percy blushes in reply. “Though I’m not sure,”
Connor giggles in reply. “I don’t mean ‘baby’ teasingly, I mean it as a pet name,”
“Pet name?” Percy asks, being confused.
“You know, how couples call each other?” Cooper says.
“Couples call each other that?” Percy asks, before a more important question comes up. “W-wait, are w-we a couple?”
“Well only if you wanna be,” Connor blushes.
Percy’s tail starts wagging. “Yes please,” He nods. “I mean… th-that’s all right.”
“You’re too cute,” Connor smiles, as he gives Percy a kiss on the cheek, making the panther blush even more. “Anything you wanna drink?”
The question makes Percy notice that his bladder isn’t quite as empty as he thought, though he doesn’t want to seem rude by refusing to order or by getting up to go to the restroom. “C-can I have a coke please?”
“Of course,” Connor replies. “And what do you wanna eat, my kitten~”
“Kitten definitely sounds better than baby,” Percy giggles as he looks through the lunch menu. “Can I have a club sandwich please?”
“Noted,” Connor smiles. “And of course,”
“Thank you,” Percy chirped.
“No problem,” Connor replies. Once the waiter returns, Connor orders a club sandwich, a burger menu, and two cokes. Not long after, said waiter returns with two coloring placements meant for cubs, and a couple crayons.
“Really Colin?” Connor asks.
“It’s customary,” Colin states.
“Is it necessary?” Connor questions. “I mean, it’s a date, and we’re not little cubs.”
“I don’t know,” Colin giggles, as Connor notices that his panther boyfriend is currently coloring in the drawing.
“I guess he really is cute,” Connor giggles to himself, as Colin went back to help others.
“So… what are your favorite things to do?” Percy curiously asks Connor.
“Well I like playing many sports, but mostly soccer. I also like drawing and painting,” Connor replies.
“That seems interesting,” Percy smiles. “Can’t wait to see your paintings.”
“You don’t have to,” Connor replies, pointing towards a wall filled with beautiful canvases.
“Wooow…” Percy looks at the paintings, which all seem to be nature-inspired. “They really look pretty,”
“Thanks,” Connor replies right as the drinks arrive. “How about you? What do you like?”
“Uhh I like playing music, and playing video games,” Percy replies, as he quickly starts drinking.
“Really?” Connor asks. “What instrument do you play?”
“Well I play the saxophone,” Percy replies.
“That’s cool,” Connor smiles.
“It’s really not that hard,” Percy blushes, as he finishes his soda.
“Well I’d love to see you play,” Connor smiles.
“Thanks,” Percy grins in reply.
“No I mean it,” Connor states.
“Well I guess I could ask my band director if you can visit during rehearsal,” Percy replies. “Or you could even join.”
“Naah, I don’t think I’ll join,” Connor states.
“We’ll see,” Percy smiles, before shyly asking. “A-are w-we boyfriends?”
Connor nods. “I guess so,” He smiles.
“Great!” Percy chirps, though in his excitement, he starts peeing in his pull-ups.
The cougar notices a visible change in the panther’s demeanor. “Everything all right, my kitten?”
“Y-yeah,” Percy nods in reply.
“Are you sure?” Connor asks. “Percy, if there’s something wrong, you can tell me. I’ll try not to make fun of you,” He giggles.
“Uhh…” The panther blushes even more.
“Relax, I’m joking,” Connor states. “But really, you can trust me,”
“All right then,” Percy starts mumbling. “I… uhh had an accident,”
Connor wonders what Percy meant, as the panther obviously didn’t get hurt. But then the scent of pee hits his snout, and he starts to realise. “Ohhh.. Ohh! It’s alright, b-but i-if you’re all right with it, then I’ll gladly help you change.” Percy nods yes, and Connor takes his paw and leads him to the bathroom.
“I’m sorry, Connor,” Percy mumbles.
“It’s all right my kitten, accidents happen,” Connor pets Percy’s head. “B-but, what happened?”
“I uhh… I have to take diuretics, because I have high blood pressure. B-but that means that I have a lot of accidents,”
“Oh, sorry to hear,” Connor replies.
“It’s all right,” Percy replies, though he does look saddened.
“But look at the bright side, this means I get to partly take care of you!” Connor smiles, and gives Percy a playful lick on the cheek as he leads the panther into the family room.
“Not helping,” Percy blushes as he is instructed to lay down.
“Not even a little bit?” Connor giggles as the panther hands him one of his pull-ups, with a lion-guard theme. “Cute,”
“T-thanks,” Percy mumbles as Connor starts changing him. He pulls the panther’s pants down, and with permission, tears off the pull-up.
The Cougar coos as he gently and gingerly cleans the pee from Percy’s fur, before sliding a new pull-up on the panther, and finally helping him put on his pants. “You’re all set,”
“Thank you,” Percy gives Connor a tight hug, wrapping his tail around him as he gives him a nuzzle.
“Aww, you’re really too cute,” Connor grins. “I’m glad your my boyfriend,”
“Aww me too,” Percy blushes, giving the cougar a little peck.
“Ready to go back, my kitten?”
“Yeah,” Percy nods. “Thank you again,”
“Don’t mention it,” The cougar replies as he takes the panther’s paw, and leads him back towards their booth, where their still-warm meals were.
“Guess Colin brought the food just a few seconds ago.” Connor states.
“Yeah,” Percy replies as he sits down. “Thanks again,”
“You don’t have to say thank you each time,” Connor giggles.
“Oh sorry,” Percy blushes.
“Same goes for the word ‘Sorry’”
“Oh all right then, sorry,” Percy replies, before realising what he said and covering his mouth with his paws.
“Hee hee,” Connor can’t help but laugh at the panther. “It’s all right.”
The two then start eating, and once done, they continue chatting for a bit, until the date finally comes to an end.
“Should I walk you home?” Connor asks.
“Th-that’d be nice, but you don’t have to,” Percy replies.
“Eh, I have to go in the same direction to buy groceries,” Connor replies. “But anything to spend more time with you,”
“Awww, You’re the best,” Percy blushes
“It’s nothing,” Connor replies, before taking Percy’s paw, and going outside after telling relatives that he would leave.
Once they are outside, and start to walk towards Percy’s house, the Cougar continues to chat. “So did you like the date?” He asks.
“It was amazing,” Percy replies.
“Do you think that you’d want a second date?” Connor asks.
Percy’s tail starts wagging again. “You’d want that?” He asks.
Connor nods. “Gladly, I had so much fun with you,” He states as they enter the street in which Percy lives.
“Well maybe next time I can organise it,” Percy replies.
“That would be fun,” Connor replies, now at Percy’s doorstep. “I guess this was it then,”
Percy quickly gives Connor a hug. “Thanks again,”
“You’re welcome,” Connor grins.
“Get home safely,” Percy tells the Cougar.
“Yeah I will kitten, I know how to walk!”
“Connor,” Percy sighs.
“Yeah yeah, I’ll be careful.”
“All right,” The panther smiles. “I’ll see you tomorrow at school.
“See you tomorrow!” Connor waves, before starting to walk away.
The cougar really enjoys the date and hopes for another, but is also curious about Percy’s pull-ups, and perhaps also wants to get his hands on a few.
