EXOs are a race of Gurosses that were sucked in by a strong anomaly, which sent them to a realm full of abandoned tech. Through trial and error, they managed to learn how to work and learn to adapt it.
Eventually, they start to evolve and become one with tech. Their bodies are highly adaptive to any terrain, and they learn how to trigger the anomaly to return to their home realm. However, there was one rule they could not break: They could not use their high-tech equipment unless it was a matter of life or death.
Some stayed in the realm they called Aviran.
They do have mouths, but they are seen when their mouth opens, and they do not need to open his or her mouth to talk.
Their main power is to mimic the powers they have seen, store them, and convert them into disks that have the data of that power or tech, so any of their kind can use it.
But some EXOs are not compatible with the data, and their bodies would reject it.
