Ronald Shoate is a tall slender raccoon running Shoate's Pub & Grill on the eastern outskirts of Venoma City in the story arc 'A Year On Venom' in Star Fox: Miyu's Love. A native of Corneria, he had a brief internship becoming a chef many years ago learning from Sid Chalmer for nearly a year before migrating to Venom where he has been for nearly the last 30 years. He is one that has seen Venom before Andross rose to power and lives in a struggle trying to make ends meet, quietly hopeful of the changes campaigned by the new Premiere Dash Bowman. He is a loner, having very little association with one side or another, preferring a very central and neutral way of looking at things and idealisms, but being one who sees many people in his line of work, he too has his many connections.
