Well, it's further along than it was before... it still needs some more work. Began as a learning exercise, but it's forcing me to learn more things to finish it.
I still don't have a name for her so I'm all ears for suggestions.
Very nice, it's turning out quite well. A shame you lost all that work previously, but I'm anxious to see how this comes out in the end.
I never could quite get the hang of zbrush, mainly because I've never been particularly good at sculpting but I love watching people work with it and seeing what they can create with it. Makes me want to continue to try and learn it.

This came up during the Skype too. Yeah, not every four-legged dragon that resembles dog anatomy is related to Spyro, it's a pretty common Western dragon design way before that game. It's like people are so quick to throw things into related categories, they might miss the actual source. TVTropes misfires for tropes all the time.
It's sort of like how no one can make anthropomorphic hedgehogs anymore without the obvious jokes.

It all gets turned into displacement maps and textures at the end. Will be nice when I figure out how to do HR (high resolution) renders + painting illustration of it...

Has a lot of thin, easily breakable parts though. Usually 3d figure sculpts have some other boxy object or an excuse to keep the pose very self-contained.
