Continuing from my Nook Watch lore, here are the villagers I've collected while I was playing Animal Crossing: New Horizons way back when... being summoned with the Nook Watch!
So, what are villager types, you may ask?
Cranky
Villagers of the Cranky type often come off as grumpy and unapproachable at first, but once they open up, they're actually mature and down-to-earth. But don't be surprised if they decide to make jokes at others' expense...
Lazy
Villagers of the Lazy type are seen as easygoing and pleasant company. Hold a conversation with one long enough, though, and it's always a coin-toss between ending on a mind-bowing epiphany... or just incomprehensible goober-babble.
Jock
Villagers of the Jock type come off as meatheads who only care about getting stronger. They don't even stop to think, if at all, but they still value themselves as hardy, reliable folks on the inside. Good luck trying with them...
Smug
Villagers of the Smug type are silver-tongued and charismatic, able to convince anyone who's weak-willed. They usually mean well, but they often get misconstrued as tricksters who spread rumors about others.
Normal
Villagers of the Normal type are sweet-natured and kind-hearted. Their emotions can be unpredictable with other villagers, however, as they see themselves as the only ones on the straight-and-narrow... plus, they really get into their hobbies.
Sisterly
Villagers of the Sisterly type come off as reckless and unfiltered at first, but it's usually coming from a good place. What they won't tolerate, however, is being told they're wrong by strangers or held back from being themselves.
Snooty
Villagers of the Snooty type see themselves as mature, refined, and held at a higher standard than others. But they're also perfectionists and will not hesitate to point out others' flaws should they feel inclined to do so.
Peppy
Villagers of the Peppy type have boundless energy and optimism, and are almost always seen with a smile on their faces. However, what they have in youthful cheer, they also lack in focus and dicipline.
But there's still one more type left to introduce... and here it is!
Important
"Important!
Important!
We are significant~!"
Special villagers are in a category all their own, known as the Important. Each and every one of them plays a crucial, vital role in the Animal Crossing apparatus, and as such, are highly revered. They still have a place in one of the eight main types, though. (ex: Brewster is an Important of the Cranky type.)
