They sure are! Just lil pieces of silicone. My faves are the feather shaped ones, even though I have to get them in packs cause I chew them so often I just rip right through them! Would have been a lot easier than chewing whatever I could get my hands on, hands included lol. I'm not surprised though, my Mom would chew the same gum for days.
