Here's my rating on each classes, now that I've played through everything

Melee is straight forward, you pretty much just go Minecraft and kill everything with a sword. You have the highest def so tanking 99% of attacks is a piece of cake. Probably the easiest for new players.

Ranged includes any attacks that involves a bow or a gun, or throwing consumables. You're gonna be treating ammo the same way as money. Somewhat has the lowest damage input out of the 4 classes but can make use of stealth mode.

Magic makes you a glass cannon. As a mage I can highly confirms that you're going to die in like 5 hits. Most attacks can costs status effects without external sources like potions. We also runs out of mana a fucking lot, so we're overdosing on mana potion like your dad drinking beer. Simply put, high damage output in exchange for little defense and health.

Summon is straight up slavery. You just run around and focuses on touhou style while whipping with a whip, while your minions do the killing. You actually have less defense and therefore takes more damage than a magic build, but on the bright side you can focus on keeping yourself alive without looking back. Endgame armor is a Jojo reference
