Lapis bothered Thema one too many times, Now she faces of consequences of her actions... ... ...for the first time in her life.
Prologue: Lapis has always loved getting attention from others and constantly sought praise from those she admires. There are few people Lapis admires more than Thema, the rich entrepreneur that runs her own company and streaming channel. As Lapis got older, she began to crave this praise and approval more and more from people. She began going out of her way to visit her idols so they could provide Lapis with the attention she felt she deserved.
Thema had always been accepting of Lapis coming over for a visit every now and then. The older woman had taken an interest in the young star since Lapis was little and even took steps to guide Lapis through her journey. As time went, however, Thema became aware of just how spoiled Lapis was and how she didn't have a concept of consequences for her actions. This was part of Lapis' appeal for Thema, but still sat in her mind when thinking about the little celebrity.
Things changed one day when Lapis had started to come over more and more frequently to Thema's estate. Thema tolerated Lapis' visits for a while but quickly grew tired of the needy girl always pestering Thema for attention. Asking Lapis to come less frequently did nothing and Lapis continued to appear just as frequently as before.
Eventually Thema had enough.
Thema confronted Lapis on her most recent visit and demanded that the girl respect Thema's time and personal space. Lapis was told to leave the estate and not return unless explicitly invited. Thema was as direct and stern with Lapis as she could be through her words, leaving Lapis feeling shocked as she wasn't used to anyone talking to her like that... especially not Thema.
Lapis left the estate, confused and genuinely unsure what she had done to make Thema so mad. From her point of view, Lapis was doing Thema a favor by showing up all the time. After all, what could be better than spending your day hanging out with Lapis?
Lapis would have to do something... and remind Thema just how great Lapis is.
Page 3: Miles wasn't used to Lapis being gone for so long. It had been several hours since he had last heard from his girlfriend and he began to suspect something was wrong. Lapis was normally very good at keeping Miles up to date on her whereabouts as well as what she was doing at any given time.
Miles began to wonder where Lapis could be right now when he remembered Lapis mentioning the situation with Thema. It wasn't that hard to believe that Lapis would ignore Thema's warning and go off on her own to visit the older woman even after being told to stay away. Lapis was never very good at following orders.
Thema was at the very least the last person to have seen Lapis aside from Miles, meaning she should be the first person Miles asks. Of course, there was also the likely possibility that Thema was also the reason Lapis was gone for so long... and Miles didn't want to imagine what that reason could be. Although Thema had never shown any desire to trap Lapis in any capacity, Thema had also never been angry with Lapis before.
Miles decided that, rather than risk offending Thema by accusing her of wrong-doing, Miles would wait to see if Lapis would turn up on her own. He figured he'd take the opportunity to enjoy some time by himself and let Lapis handle whatever situation she got herself into. After all, Lapis was pretty good at getting herself out of trouble she gets herself into.
- A Few Days Later -
Miles hadn't heard from Lapis is almost a full week and was pretty sure she wasn't coming home on her own. A few quick phone calls to close friends revealed that Lapis hadn't been staying with any of them. It was clear to Miles what happened to his girlfriend and that he would need to take action to get her back.
Miles traveled to Thema's manor and knocked on the door. He was greeted by Alma, Thema's employee, and asked if he was here to see Lapis. That pretty much confirmed his suspicions.
Alma took Miles deep into the manor, through all the nice rooms and down into the depths of the house where Thema kept her dungeon. Passing through many hallways, Miles was lead so deep into the dungeon that he began to become uncomfortable. Finally, Alma opened the door to a room and let Miles step inside.
Thema was sitting on a stool at the far end of the room, occupying herself with a familiar set of feet in front of her. The feet were poking through a hole in the wall, and Thema was keeping herself busy by dragging her finger nails down the plump, pale soles of those tortured feet. Thema also enjoyed running her tongue along the heels of the feet.
"Lapis ignored your warning, didn't she?" Miles said, almost relieved that Thema was the one that took Lapis and not someone else.
"Ah, finally noticed?" Thema asked, noticing Miles for the first time.
"I'm not getting to take Lapis home tonight, am I?" Miles replied, knowing how possessive Thema could be.
Thema explained the situation to Miles, most of it being what he expected. Miles wasn't even surprised that Lapis jumped the fence to the manor. Thema then explained that she'd be keeping Lapis in this dungeon only until she apologized for disrespecting Thema.
Miles stared at the exposed pair of feet in the wall, silently flailing around in the open air as they desperately struggled to escape the tickling they were receiving. Miles didn't think they would be very effective at communicating a proper apology. Still, Miles kept this thought to himself since he was kind of intimidated by Thema and figured she was too angry to care.
Miles continued staring at the feet without speaking, marveling at the rare sight he had never seen before. All his life, Lapis had always been the one giving out punishments to other people, but she never seemed to receive any. It seemed like Lapis would never get tickled since the universe just seemed to favor her. Apparently, no one was safe from this kind of thing.
Lapis always insisted that she wasn't ticklish, but now Miles could see that definitely wasn't true. Her large feet clearly strained against their bindings in a fruitless attempt to regain their freedom. With every stroke of Thema's fingers, Lapis' plump toes curled and spasmed before fanning out again and repeating endlessly. It was mesmerizing to watch Lapis' silky smooth soles become covered in wrinkles only to be pulled taut and smooth out fully.
Miles wondered if they would make for good pillows...
Miles' face flushed red and he began to feel hot under the collar. He didn't realize it, but he was starting to become excited while watching Thema work. While Miles was unaware of the reaction this was having on him, Thema definitely noticed and began to think of an idea.
Lapis grew complacent in Thema's presence. Never did the young star expect to be on the receiving end of her wrath.
Lapis never realized just how lucky she was to receive Thema's warning.
