Vera and Reed are celebrating Christmas together this year.
Though their relationship got off to a rough start, Reed won over Vera with his wholesomeness and honesty.
Reed was invited over to Vera's house to open presents on Christmas morning. The two of them had breakfast together before exchanging gifts. Vera knew Reed enjoyed cooking so she compiled a list of the various recipes she collected from around the world into a single cook book.
Reed opened the book and loved his gift so much that he couldn't help himself and scooped up Vera into a massive hug.
Unfortunately for Vera, Reed has a hard time controlling his strength when he's excited. Vera wound up getting a tighter hug then she was expecting, but knew that it was because Reed was so happy. Not wanting to ruin her boyfriend's excitement, Vera did her best not to struggle and embraced the hug as best she could.
Vera patiently waited for Reed to finish his hug and put her down. Reed, however, was more than content hugging his new girlfriend.
Vera was determined to let Reed have his moment... but she hoped he'd stop soon.
