In a tabletop campaign I'm in, one of my pokemon (Tapioca the Pachirisu) and another player's pokemon (Guts the Eevee) are growing quite fond of each other, despite one of them carrying a dangerous affliction.
Will this blossom into something special? Gosh I hope so!
(Pokemon-shaped pokemon continue to be a challenge for me)
