Commission bought by Snow including me, here is what he wrote about it :
The two fledgling mages had been experimenting with a sanctuary spell of their own creation, but when it was miscast they found themselves trapped inside it. They found their sanctuary however was not furnished like of a hut or cabin, but instead resembled a giant nursery. Complete with toys sized to make the adult wolf and bull resemble cubs. Worse was the sanctuary’s Unseen Servant which acted more like a Nanny and treated them like babies, confiscating their cloths and diapering them when it caught them undiapered.
They had decided the best way to fight the nanny, and hopefully escape, was to build a golem. While supplies for building a traditional golem were absent there was a giant teddy bear that should fit the purpose.
Building and infusing the creature with magic had gone smoothly, training their Teddy Golem however had not. The golem they had built was empowered by magic essences they had collected and had become difficult to control with their limited arcane experience. The golem had learned to defend them easily enough, and had that set as its primary mission. But when commanded to attack it simply hugged the target. Grappling was not what the wizards intended. It needed to strike magically to assist their escape. “It needs to be meaner!” grumbled Loupy the wolf. Searching through his pouch for something in their dwindling supplies that could help. He found 2 crystals filled with potent looking energy, and immediately fed them to the golem.
“No don’t use those crystals!!” the bull named Dominus shouted, rushing over to try and stop his friend - but it was too late. Those crystals had been filled with eldritch energy and wild magic respectively.
In his rush to stop his friend he had banged into a table, clutching his knee and giving a yelp of pain.
With its simple commanded to “Protect the Masters” the golem went into action when it heard the bulls cry – determining the Masters were too squishy, and that the best place to protect them from hard surfaces was inside its soft body.
The eldritch power infused in it caused the seams in its belly to tear open into a toothy maw. It seemed the creature had been stuffed using old clothes, and two long sock like tentacles sprang out of the maw to entangle its masters – and start pulling them in.
In his shock of the golems transformation the wolf had dropped the amulet they needed to command their abomination. He clawed at the floor struggling to reach the amulet as the tentacles tightened and started to pull. But it was soon hopelessly out of reach.
The Masters were struggling against its protection, the golem didn’t understand why, but it couldn’t allow that. Two more sock tentacles emerged each holding a nice secure jacket for its Masters. Soon they would be safe - tightly and eternally embraced in the golems internal hug.
Nothing to see here. Just a giant teddy bear in an enchanted nursery pocket dimension. Certainly nothing suspicious about it …
Lost among the planes exists a peaceful pocket dimension accidentally created by two fledgling mages. Anyone that enters this strange sanctuary would find it furnished like a giant nursery with its most striking feature a massive teddy bear.
The mages that created this place did indeed find the safety and sanctuary they sought – but not how they Intended.
Inside the teddy the squishy mages remain, eternally embraced and surrounded by the teddy golems protection. Their needs met by the Unseen Servant Nanny that serves this sanctuary. Reaching through the golem to provide for their feedings and diaper changes – the later protecting the golem from their leaks too.
