Instead, bundled up in the blanket was a beautiful, normal-looking little girl, who's golden eyes looked up at him with curiosity and wonder. For the first time in months, Silver smiled. For the first time since that terrible night, he was happy. His long-overdue days of promising new beginnings were here at last. The arrival of his little girl had brought a much-needed light into his dark period. She was living proof that good things can come from even the worst situations.
