Welcoming a new trend with myself in producing more trance pieces, especially in the hard trance category, the star of this piece still is my beloved TB-303. New to my arsenal however is the backing JD-800 which has proven itself time and again since I got it, how powerful it really is and I still don't feel that I have fully unlocked all of its potential.
The drums are provided by the TR-909 drum machine which I had pass through an effects chain to create that classic "slap-back" rumble that is very iconic in techno, but does quite well here.
In the 12 years that I been away from the fandom, I have been building up my synth collection quite nicely. I think I am now up to about 15 synths and I love them all. (would you even consider a drum machine a synth? I do.)
