Robin was always looking for new ways to impress his father and prove himself worthy of being the next Batman. While out on patrol, Robin found a clue to Harley Quinn's newest hide out and went off on his own to investigate.
Long story short, Robin wound up falling for a trap that had him quickly bound and unconscious.
When Robin woke up, he realized his suit had been removed and he was now wrapped up tight by several layers of duct tape. He was also suspended from a device on the ceiling that held him above the ground in his new cage.
Harley had decided to keep the nosy brat because he looked cute and might be fun to play with later.
