- Come on, stay a little longer, please, I'll stop bothering you!!

- No, Sara!! The sun is setting, and we were supposed to have left a while ago!!

The dragon was slowly walking up the beach toward their things. Their beach was far from the road, and there was a long way to go. While the shark continued to play naively in the water, Aobi put some of their things in the backpack. Just as she was about to fold up the umbrella and put away the towels, Sara came running over. She was still soaking wet and was pointing at something with a completely happy expression.

- Look over there at the top of the cliff, a huge abandoned building. What do you think it is? the shark asked him.

-It's an old abandoned asylum. I already told you when we arrived. And while we were swimming, are you even listening to me?!

Aobi hadn't even finished his sentence when Sara's eyes lit up. She had an incredible idea. She took a large and a small flashlight from the bottom of her backpack and looked at the dragon insistently:

-Come on, let's go urbexing, Aobi!

-What?! Are you crazy or what? This beach is normally off-limits to visitors, so if we're found here... HEY, SARA!

The dragon didn't even have time to refuse, as the shark was already on the way to the building. Aobi had to run to catch up with her. She was already climbing some rocks and the gentle slope to reach the top of the cliff. She followed him, and when she reached the heights, she caught her partner's arm, panting. Sara stood facing the last rays of the sun, breathing in the fresh air coming from the sea. Aobi caught his breath and saw the magnificent landscape and the reddish glow that faintly lit the beach. Nightfall was imminent.

A dirt path seemed to wind its way through a crack in the wall, revealing a sign nailed to the wall reading: "DANGER, DANGEROUS BUILDING, DO NOT ENTER."

The dragon and the shark looked at each other for a second with a strange feeling before Sara smiled at him:

-Aww, everything's fine, you know they often put up signs to scare urban explorers, no one can hurt us in this place.

- I'm still not very reassured, I'm a little scared...

Aobi took the small flashlight and let her friend enter first through the hole in the wall. She lit the room and saw an incredible room. A room with some medical equipment presented itself to her, a hole in the floor, a collapsed floor, mold... The building might have taken on the wrinkles of time, but everything still seemed in place, as if they were the only ones and the first to have returned to this place.

Aobi went inside and looked to her left. She saw a small padded cell in a sad state. Fear was making her anxious, and she had to cling to the cell door out of fear. She breathed to calm herself; this kind of place had never really reassured her. Sara found some medicine still intact on the table and took one, wondering what it could be used for. The labels were faded by time and didn't help anyone understand their purpose; a faint sweet smell emanated from them.

-Do you think these are medicines or candy? Sara asked.

-Don't be silly, probably anti-anxiety or crazy medication. Don't eat these things! the dragon retorted.

The two stayed for a few moments exploring the place. The lamps were becoming more and more necessary for their exploration. The reddish rays of the sun were disappearing more and more, and the place was becoming dark and frightening. Aobi and Sara chatted a little about this strange place. We had almost never talked about it, nothing in the archives, books, newspapers, television, or the internet. This place seemed cut off from the world for some reason. She knew it because when they were little, they came here to go to the sea. This beach was so discreet that she could be quiet. No one ever came. They were probably the first to enter the building. You have to cross a rather dense forest to get here, and even the locals know very little about the existence of this beach, preferring a beach closer to the city.

Aobi had always wondered why this place was so hidden, but what scared her most was the strange aura of this building. As long as she came to this beach, she never wanted to approach the building; it gave off an evil aura, as if it didn't exist or that something threatening was hidden inside.

Fear suddenly returned, and Aobi stood up from the cell door. Sara, on the other hand, seemed to be concentrating on the strange pill and wanted to find its origin. The last rays of sunlight were disappearing, and Aobi suddenly felt the same threat she felt every time she came alone to this beach, as soon as she saw the building.

- Hey, Sara... I think we should go... I have a bad...

Aobi couldn't even finish his sentence when a loud crack was heard in the hallway at the end, facing the dragon.

- "EEEEEEP!" Aobi cried, trembling against the door.

Sara got up and joined Aobi, looking at the door. She looked at him and said:

- It looked like a fall, maybe someone hurt themselves, we should go check!

Sara headed down the hallway, moved a large rusty door, and saw a corridor and locked doors. The corridor seemed endless, leading into darkness.

Aobi caught her breath, looked one last time at the glimmer of sunlight disappearing on the old, cracked wall of the building, and bravely followed her friend. She had a terrible feeling.
