I'm not sure why - usually my pieces take about 1-2 days tops - however Upcoat took around a week to complete. With an unusual amount of layers and certain technique used, I am quite proud of the finished product. This is a wolf (or some other unspecified canine) wearing the bloodied skin of a lamb - two images that oddly don't seem meant to be together in the slightest, with the softness of the lamb's hide contrasting with the beguiled manner of the bloodied host wearer in their environment. I'd love to hear your thoughts below. 8.5 x 5 in. on mixed media paper, acrylic, colored pencil, soft oil pastel, varnished with workable fixative. $120 OBO (shipping + lamination with tracking number to the US included,) comment or note to claim.
