Um amigo meu me pediu pra fazer isto pra ele.
Page 1:
1. Start the drawing with the sketch. Build the character you want to make using simple shapes.
2. If you are using a mouse or trackpad/touchpad, maybe you can not draw the shapes with accuracy. Because of that, use back and forth movements, to get close to the desired shapes.
Page 2:
1. Now, draw on the sketch the desired characteristics. If you are using a mouse or trackpad/touchpad, use back and forth movements.
2. Horrible, is it not? That is normal; the sketch needs not to be a magnum opus.
Page 3:
FIRST, reduce the opacity of the current layer to 50%. You will do so by changing that 100% to 50%. Then, click on the + to create a new one, with 100% opacity, on top of the previous layer.
Page 4:
1. Select the straight line tool.
2. Draw a straight line from a point in the drawing to another, like I'm doing with the tail.
Page 5:
1. Right after making the straight line, hold down shift.
2. While shift is held, move the mouse of trackpad/touchpad to curve the line.
Page 6:
1. Using the straight line and curve tool, cover the sketch.
2. Attention! The lines must be in the new layer, not in the previous one.
Page 7:
Hide the sketch layer, by clicking on the eye icon beside it. If you hide the wrong layer, click on the eye again.
Page 8:
Click again on the + to create a new layer. That will be our color layer and must be under the line layer, so that the coloring does not erase the lines. Move, thence, the new layer to the second place in the list (drag and drop).
Page 9:
1. After coloring, I like to reduce the opacity of the color layer to 50%. That is why the colors in my drawings look "gentler".
2. You can add more layers to include shading effects, for example, using the black color.
