I'm not sure. I thought perhaps she was sad for messing up the pancake, but then smiled because of how pretty it is up there. But maybe it's more likely the occasion of this pancaking is so big that she's moved to tears. (I often smile and cry when watching ponies, so, hmm.. I wouldn't put it past me that this is what's going on here!)
