A rather late birthday gift for Leon13, it's a remake of one of his older pieces, starring two of my favorite characters of his!

It's also a Children of Maeria piece, maybe this version of Jeris and Takoda are actors in Maeria, and are putting on a play of The Nutcracker Prince together! The uniform Jeris is wearing is most likely a completely fictitious one made for the play, and not based on any existing army in Maeria.

I'm using my fanmade depiction of Jeris with the sharp snout and kobold ears, because otherwise he would just look like Leon/Parker with different colors, plus I think adding some pointer bits really fits with the idea him being an agile and talented swordfighter in his world.

I've also gone back to the more iconic Tiara head crest Takoda is almost always drawn with instead of the weird hybrid Smolder-like crest I originally drew her in.

Oh yeah, and they're now plantigrade instead of digitigrade, I had no idea why I did that, Leon always drew his characters as plantigrade.
