But ya see that's the problem. They can see All possible future's. So they could obviously see a future where they tell him, but somehow that future would have been worse.
How? Don't ask someone who can see multiple timelines. Just watch any time travel movie that tries to "Fix" things and see how well it goes.

Lemme see if I got this straight: He was put through a future sight and experienced everything according to how he would react if he only had his past to go by, but none of that actually came to pass and he is about to be pulled to the present to make a decision?

...Isn't accurately predicting how/when people die Gothitelle's entire shtick? Not like Dratini here was a Dark Type!
Also it ain't the end! Judging how hard their spirits are sticking around, (likely due to unfinished business), They'll be reincarnated as ghost types in no time!

Is a timeline lead through ignorance with fewer deaths and misery better than a timeline lead through awareness with more bloodshed? Isn't freedom the right of all beings, to be able to know, and to accept their flawed selves, and their natural want for destruction?
The argument is on if the Gothitelle should have the right to make that call about other people's lives, because this is the second time he has been put into a position of "This is the best outcome I could foresee", first by the council and now again by the Gothitelle, and both times it got him screwed over. Including the situation that got him into this mess in the first place, three times a lack of being aware is what brought him misery.
He has never once been given all the pieces to be able to make a sound decision, and the beings who have all the pieces won't give it to him, so personally, I call BS, lol

you're not entirely wrong, but it also feels like they're saying "we got multiple jigsaw puzzles, all the pieces can fit together, but we don't know what the main puzzle being put together is, just that there are a lot of possible combinations and it's too many to sort safely without accidentally making a messy finished picture". it does still feel fucked how they don't divulge the intel and give him the full historical picture THEN let him figure how to handle that. there's also the weird tiny detail where that smug Bisharp way way back when screwed the poochyena by being a dick, finding said daughter, then not being more forward with what actually happened thus getting here. feels like a lot of the shitty options got picked for maybe a half decent future they could see come to pass?

Wait... did they both do Guillotine? I thought he didn't kill his opponent. Or did the Gothielle use Spirit Bind on them? (whatever that BS move that makes Wabafett such a pain 😅)
