So this is [a character with still no name after all these years, goddammit], who I have been drawing a lot lately.
I felt the need of a redesign since his first introduction was rushed and I didn't have time (or that's what I thought) to create a proper one. Why? Long story short: Participated in a multi animator project (host chooses song, divides it in parts, set rules, sometimes set a specific color palette [like my case], animators join by claiming a part, animate it, and then the host stitches all together). Thing is, host got confused, assigned same part to different animators by error, opened multiple times the song for some reason? didn't said anything to the ones who already delivered, and ultimately gave up, so I couldn't see the other animators' work :c
In any case, I thought it had a time limit so I didn't even bother, I said "fck it, I'm the only one who cares anyway" and worked with what I had, creating a basic design on the spot, idk. Hell, the only palette he had until today was the one I was given by the creator of the animation project (seen above).
Now that I have back the motivation to draw him, I finally chose a design (for the face at least) I feel comfortable with + a proper color palette!
Talking about him now: he's a major character for another character's story. He's passionate about his job, I mean, doing what he LOVES and getting paid generous amounts of money for it? hell yeah, he wouldn't change it, and he has also gained some important acquaintances with this.
Trust me, this page doesn't make justice to his personality, but that's for later, he's usually more charismatic and confident, but at (his main) work he needs to be calmer and sweet with his clients. Accident drawing was unnecessary but I'm feeling particularly edgy these days since certain game got updated ¬//¬" anyways, that's just what happened to him, has not much relevancy to the story.
So what are your thoughts? Observations? Questions? Any type of engagement is well received, I need distractions :c

I kind of get mafia doctor vibes from him. Seems like an interesting guy and hope we get to see more of him. If you're still thinking of names for him, I'd like to suggest Richard.

I'm gonna be honest, I thought about calling him Richard too! Only thing that stops me is that someone is my family is called like that, so it makes it weird :P

Dr. X really gives me the impression of what a professional should be. Kind, gentle, supportive when needs be but not loosing his character. Having gone trough trauma himself, he probably has a much better understanding of what his patients go trough. I also really like the brown/cream color pallet. I believe it quite fits the character description. 9/10 would get surgery from
