So; this is a pic I wanted to get for a while, and its got a bit of a backstory. Essentially I have allota people who have asked why does Cenny wear a red bandana.. why is he always seen with it etc. When designing Cenny I wanted to give him something that had a bit of a reference to something from my past. Now when I was a child, I was one of those super clingy kids.. I had something which I owned and I would never let it out of my sight, it was a red blanket, given to me when I was incredibly little by a close family friend who passed away when I was super young.. Now this blanket was mine, I would never let anything happen to it, I had to watch my mom when she would watch it to make sure she wouldnt "hurt" it or anything, she tells me stories on how when she would wash it and leave it out to dry, I would sit on the patio and just kinda wait for it to be dry so I could have it again. Now I look back at that and I thought it was kind of adorable that I thought that way.. The blanket that I had was red, completely red, and the idea is that that same blanket would be the bandana that is tied around Cenny's neck. It looked incredibly fitting for him, matched the design really well and was kinda like it was meant to be =). I have the old blanket still, its up in my attic, still to this day I have that, I think its in its own way a little bit significant, that family friend that gave me it had a rather large impact on my life, he helped my family immensely, if it wasnt for him we would have been far less fortunate, maybe live in another location which could have potentially led to me growing up to be a bit of a different person. As a child I always had that blanket, I was to my knowledge at one point incredibly ill (I dont recall it, but I have been told by my parents) to the point where I almost passed away (so they say), given the wrong medication, and the only thing that would make me feel better would be that one blanket, also known as "Querida" which is portuguese (my parents are portuguese) or as I sometimes called it, "Preci" which is short for "Precioso" which was the nickname sometimes given to it, Precioso translates to Precious in english... and funny enough I recieved a note a few months ago, I had no idea, but "Cenny" is the Polish, translation of Precious. The family friend who gave me the blanket was from Poland... funny how it kinda happened like that.. bit of a mind fuck @_@ Cenny's name was completely unintentional, the only intention was that the blanket would be the bandana he wears around his neck.. So here we have a little mini Cenny waiting for his bandana to dry off...

That's an awesome back story, but I wouldn't be surprised if someone said 'cenny' to you while you were younger and it stuck around in the back of your mind, subconscious memories can surprise us sometimes. Awesome story again though.
