Captain Sunder the Wolf: A former member of the naval armies of a noble who hunted sea monsters. But when the nobility had upgraded their navy to be unmanned, Sunder stole from them and sailed away with his funds and his new ship, the ScottsGael. With experience of the most dangerous waters, he figured his military experience makes him an ideal leader. Now he leads the Spoils (the name of the crew) having freedom, adventure, and loved sticking it to evil pirates or nobles.
Calypso the Parrot: She was of royal blood but was enamored with the captain and threw everything to the wind to follow him and his crew. Being a good flyer, having a powerful yet screechy voice and seeing how her wings prevent her from properly grab things, she works best as a lookout. She has a very clingy attitude and tends to fall in love easily with every man she sees.
Tick Tock the Crocodile: He earned his name because of his catchphrase of saying “3…2…1” before he mauls his opponents and bests them. He was once a bouncer for one of the bars. But got sick of seeing the same old drunks and slobs being the only ones he fought. He signed up with Sunder cuz he’s the only guy he respects who can take a croc bite the leg and not be needing a peg one. How that fight went down, neither wish to elaborate. He has a very well kept softer side.
Mr Bones the Octopus: Bones had no real name beyond living in the ocean. Sunder actually found him not long after he left the navy. Bones said he was trespassing on his waters. He was going to kill Sunder before he was outwitted by the captain. His experience with sea monsters allowed him to capture the octopus and in exchange for his release, he is indebted to the captain. Sunder named him Mr Bones and tattoo’ed him because he found the irony too funny not to use. Bones is apathetic to the crew and has no love for his situation. And so tries to laze around or hide under the ship to avoid doing anything. But when things get heated, he’ll come in clutch if only because he’s grown accustomed the constant traveling and nobody else would permit him to be as lazy around the ship as Sunder does.
Carina the Dragonfly: Carina is an orphan who enjoyed listening to the stories of heroes who went on adventures. One day she lost her eye when she got into a fight with another orphan and broke her wings. While her wings have healed, her stamina for flight is less than average compared to other dragonflies. While her body was broken, her spirit never changed. As when one day she applied for Sunder’s crew in a heartbeat. Being the freshest mate of the crew, Sunder treats Carina like a daughter figure. And is the beating heart of the crew with her endless optimism and desire to help the crew members.
Mr Cutthroat the Toad: Mr Cutthroat was actually a former enemy pirate. When Sunder attacked another rogue pirate, Cutthroat was employed by another captain and was single-handedly staving off Sunder, Tick Tock and Bones with how fast and ninja-like he was. However, when Sunder destroyed his ship, he was prepared to drown at sea, until Sunder offered to save him in exchange for his service. Cutthroat seeing no better option agreed. Cutthroat is very good at hiding within any ship he resides in. As he constantly speed runs around the ship to enter any part of it within under a minute to maintain his edge. He’s sometimes almost betrayed the crew for profit, but things always resolve themselves and having a resident scoundrel who is predictably open to greed and survival has lead to Sunder’s advantage more often than not.
