Going to the beach, any beach, is one of Shema's favorite ways to spend a day. Being a cat, she loves the feeling of the hot sun on her fur and warm sand beneath her feet. She does not often swim in the ocean, preferring pools and such, but will occasionally enjoy an afternoon of amateur scuba-diving in the shallows.
She also enjoys being noticed and admired by other beach-goers and will admit to herself that glances her way become increasingly infrequent as she gets older...a sad fact of life she struggles to accept.
