To kick off the first month of the new year: I thank my brother for getting these to be scanned! And thanks to my sister for an "portable" version of CS4, so I hope that I can get to the new drawings this week!
This drawing happen when I saw mystiklsushi's Puella Magi collage art of Mami and Candeloro, and my sister apparently has this "DECOreru MEMO" book, which it's basically pages you can cut or tear to decorate your scrapbook and other stationary! I thought that the material might fit for anything Mami-related, especially her Witch form that I adore for some odd yet personal reasons! (Or in an excuse: I like to draw Mami in bonnets!) I will figure out other projects with that kind of paper.. And maybe as far for RL (non-digital) commissions maybe? (I still want to do this kind of thing to get some moolah using my talent!)
About two hours total for to draw and color Candeloro-Mami, and at lest three-hour hours working on the collage! Imagine cutting every single flower or tiny printed gem? I was originally going to have one of Mami's hollow eye poking out pink and red strings representing her friends/Familiars, but I blooped it out during the process, and the fact that I don't own wool yarn. Having the puppy face... Was sort of my thing ever since I got into Wreck-It Ralph's "Sugar Rush" character art.
