surprised me with another fantastic piece of BtF art. Thank you again, my friend! I am deeply honored that you consider my silly little stories inspiring.

This is a peek at the Treehouse crew after they made it out of Fallow Acres, post the wrap of Home.

Kellogg on bass/guitar, Pussycat and Belly both trade off lead vocals, backup vocals and rhythm/lead guitar roles depending on the song. Coll-boy in the back picking it up on the synth and digital beats. It's amazing what you can do with a laptop and MIDI keyboard in 2005.

I purposefully kept it vague about the type of music they produce so readers can interpret however they wanted, but I always envisioned these guys to have their own little electro-industrial, super-heavy post-shoegaze sound going. Super distortion and pedal heavy, and really screamy heavy vocals from Belly. He's finally got a constructive outlet to channel all that traumatic past into.

Some music rag they got featured in, later down the line, described their music as 'more feedback than music, and they know how to make it work'.

After all, these guys can do anything they put their minds to.

I love seeing how people interpret them. HC definitely sees 'em as pretty skinny. Which makes sense given the fact that they were effectively homeless 'til their music started taking off! I do like to think that Belly started off a chubby kid and grew out of it though. :)

Love that you love them! This little gang is pretty special to me, because they're just so...in the mix in Aardvark Heights. Their scope of interaction reaches the whole town (and beyond) and really lets me bring the setting to life unlike most of the characters I write. My little heist crew. Core players in the seedy Aardvark Heights underbelly. :o)

They are hilarious fun, and I have been having a spot of fun using them for warmups.  Thanks for lending them to me to get my art back in action, Bud.
