Knux! It's Knux! Knux with weird echidna paws, because...well, I wanted to. Otachan1 on Inkbunny asked very nicely if Knuckles would be happening...which is directly what led to Knuckles happening. Hopefully the fact that I took a crack at drawing Knux with more echidna-like paws rather than more paw-like paws isn't a deal breaker!
Echidnas are fascinatingly towed out in the hind, with their claws curling back frontward, and it's absolutely wild looking. They also have lovely beefy foreclaws, and, yanno, it all makes sense for burrowing animals. It's just a very different look. For Knux' forepaws, I popped his middle digits up a little bit as a nod to his knuck-claws. It becomes obvious I still love the Archie Comics run of the Sonic comics, because I'm still waaaay attached to echidnas having two-fingered hand-paws.
