When the meteor fell on the island thousands of years ago, it brought with it a special mineral. A glowing, blue rock known as morsyte - considered priceless in the mainland of Aetheria.
The ancient people of the island did not know how read, write, or speak the language as other humans. Instead, their culture was based solely on their voices.
When a person dies, they sing an elegy. When a person weds another, they sing a happy song. When another child is born, they sing out to the heavens for providing them with another blessing.
But not everything is a blessing from the heavens. After the meteor descended on the island, it brought with it a calamity much more destructive than a hurling rock from outer space...
