no matter how hard idw tries to destroy the turtles and splinter as a family (because, apparently, every modern tmnt writer was abused by their parents, and therefore they hate anything that resembles a father figure...) the corner stone of the ninja turtles, what makes them special, and endearing is the fact that they are a family AND SPLINTER IS THEIR FATHER, period, there cant be ninja turtles without splinter, just check the new horrible idw book, where donatello is literally crazy carrying a deadrat on his shoulder he is sure it's splinter...and raph is on prison....and leonardo went to an island where he ended eating turtles to survive...

SERIOUSLY, WHY PEOPLE LIKES THIS HORRIBLE BOOK? ARE YOU OK, IDW? MUST I CALL THE POLICE?
