in VRchat the current method i use would be setting up a matcap with an iridescent texture in Poiyomi. I forget the exact method I went about it in blender but I think I remember it involved hooking up a rainbow/white color ramp to a geometry node that referenced the camera's placement/view. googling "iridescent shader blender" gives tons of other ways to go about it too i'm sure
