So part of my yearly traditions is redrawing an old piece from my past, this time around I chose an old Digimon fanart from 2012! Let me tell you this one kicked my butt! In the old piece it was just Guilmon, Renamon, and Terriermon. Something I wanted to do for this one was add more of the Digimon, being Calumon and Impmon and maybe the humans... I ended up dropping the humans quick due to some constraints but was happy with what I had as a sketch of the 5 Digimon! However when looking up references of the digis I saw Lopmon and really wanted to draw her (she is one of my favorites!) but I felt bad not adding the other secondary digis. So after looking up size references, I tested out Guardromon and Leomon placements then added MarineAngemon and Lopmon! I was happy with the sketch, then I realized I had to render 9 digimon... This was one of the first pieces I finished in 2025 but fuuc- did I not want to look at it for a while after finishing it. I wasn't happy with it at first but once I moved past the upset feelings I liked it more! I still feel like I want to do more with this piece but maybe that can be saved for a different redraw in the future! Maybe I could even draw the humans lol! Also lowkey felt weird drawing Renamon without boobs hehe
