The hound intensely felt her heart leap into her throat and Kodi’s words faded into the background.
Leaning with her arms crossed against one of the cast iron columns that supported the depot canopy was a brown furred saluki. The woman pursed her lips and blew a lock of brown hair out from in front of her face. While her body language and expression seemed to indicate boredom, Sylvie could see her eyes glancing up and down the platform, alert. A healthy bosom adorned her chest, the heft evident in how the fabric of her blouse hugged against her. It came further down to a firm middle, not paper-thin but instead the supple presentation of healthiness. She was breathtaking. And Sylvie couldn’t help but be baffled as to how or why she was suddenly attracted to this woman at a first glance.
“Auntie Sylvie? You okay?” Kodi snapped the hound out of her transfixion.
“Oh, yes. Of course. I just, got distracted by something.”
