i had a lot of fun making a themed page last time, and a friend was already asking for a void koopa blob and another was challening everyone to fatten the longator so i might as well go wild with em!!!
- the void koopa part was made when the Wonderfull drawings dropped, so im technically stealing that idea but i still think they're cute in general - i always found the bandits cute and they remind me a lot of early mario fan media thanks to stuff like Super Bandit Bros, that and shyguys already look really cute when pear'd up - :iconinoreppep: was talking about how there wasn't any fat art/even much regular art of the longator out there, i at least knew i wanted to approach it like this - the silly unused guy from doki doki panic!!! that and probably more well known as the tcrf mascot - silly huge robot cats,,,,, Ouugh,,, - i had a lot of fun playing through super mario land 2 a few times lately, it's a fun game to marathon and surprisingly easier than i remembered it being after not playing it for years - these snakes from Mario Clash are apparently different enough from cobrats to be their own species, and shoutouts to most of this game being obscure due to most people just having it as a footnote
