Ash had gotten kidnapped by a new mob boss on the scene, and instead of doing what Sonic was doing and running errands for the mob boss to get Ash back. Geoffrey went undercover to see if he could save Ash. Thinking he could try and do what Ash has done before and disguise himself in a dress Rouge lent him but was to impatient to stay and complete the look he ran off to where the mob boss was hiding.
It just so happened where the mob boss was hiding was a club that Scourge just so happened to be in to meet up with this boss to get some work, and he caught Geoffrey in the corner sneaking around to ask what he was up to, especially in the outfit he was wearing.
