Once again, Aeon is left to comfort Rascal and Lollypup on his own as the pups cry. Aeon just explained that their other daddy wouldn’t be coming home anymore. Relationships are hard, and often, one side drifts away from the other for an unknown reason. The fact is, someone always gets hurt, and the family feels broken once again. While Aeon wants to cry as well, he has to be the adult and look after the kids first.
“SSHHH, Its ok pups. Don’t worry….” Aeon said between the sobs of the little ones. “I’ll always be here for you no matter what.” His voice trembled some as he finished the line and he held the little ones close.

So, originally this was suppose to be a valentines day picture featuring my now ex holding one of the pups, and Aeon holding the other. It was going to show us becoming a family and being proud of being together.
Unfortunately, during the process of commissioning the picture, I was informed that I was once again single with very little info than that. There was no attempt of communication, questions were ignored, at the time I didn’t know if I had done something, or if it could even be fixed. Now of course, I know that there was no chance at fixing the relationship, mostly because for some reason my ex doesn’t want it to be fixed. Im left asking what I did to him to cause this, but the only answer I’ve gotten is empty expressions, and silence.
So I changed the commission. Similar picture, minus my ex, and the space where joy once thrived, soft crys and heart break now reside. Love is one of the most powerful feelings in the world. It can make you feel like your moving mountains one minute, and break you down against the rocks the next. All I can say is if you are fortunate to have a relationship, take a moment and tell that special person that you love them. You never know when that opportunity will vanish before your eyes.
