Sometimes things run through my head, like giant rodent-people. I decided since I needed to have the bridge crew properly thought up (I still need a logistics supervisor, a chief of finances, a head navigator and the terrarium groundskeeper), why don't I get the giant radanite out of my head and make her the communications director?
Thus we've got Susan (last-name pending) with giantism. Her job as communications director means she makes and directs calls on behalf of the crew, citizens and passengers unless asked otherwise. For the most part it's a nice desk job, and because of her giantism she's seldom asked to go to the bridge for her duties.
She's soft-spoken, but takes good care of her coat and shares a shift with Judy, so with Judy being a fan of luxuries like high-quality animal pelts, of course she'd become fast friends with Susan.
