A very interesting commission from :iconvulumar: , a fan of :iconsnekguy: 's work. Interestingly, I actually did a few of Snekguy's first few covers and some weapon design so I'm glad that early work still brings people in to my door!
My favorite part of this piece was the female Valbaran - a joy to paint her and those gradients work really nice. The most tedious part was by far the building. While it is true that I've seen masters like Craig Mullins and Greg Rutkowski (also from Poland) do these kinds of buildings in a very impressionistic but beautiful style (think Civ V), I'm afraid I haven't gotten to that level yet. Maybe with some practice I will get there, but my approach here was very technical, less artistic. All in all, a very interesting and pleasant commission!
