Annabelle’s Other Wish
Not all wishes can be televised. In a world where unlike jesus and the gods Santa Clause is real and has magic that allows other animal species to talk like humans during the christmas season. Why? I don’t know either, but the ironic twist is the boy Billy who lives on the farm with his grandpa Baker is mute and cannot speak.
Despite the lack of verbal communication Billy finds a strong connection with Annabelle as well as the other animal species of the farm since his human species is found lacking in affection. Annabelle and her mother don’t have the hangups the human animals do which leads to Annabelle giving Billy a kiss in the way she was told by the others how humans do it. Because as it turns out love doesn’t need words to be found and shared with each other. Billy surprised, thrilled and terrified of being caught lets the exploration continue despite his concerns, letting his true feelings conquer fear. Through future events (witnessed in the movie) Billy will get his voice back while Annabelle gives up hers forever.
Years go by and Billy grows up with his first love and makes a family of his own with a second human wife and kids that understand his feelings for this cow Annabelle and that despite the more simplistic nature and needs that relate to her species, is made part of the family all the way until the later years when she is able to get her other wish.
