I didn't even see the dragon with her at least I don't remember seeing the dragon with her but I could see the dragon doing that as some form of twisted revenge. Why does the dragon remind me more of the hero from The last story then the kabod in this story remind me of him

I went back and checked her time in town and we don't see the dragon cat with her at all when she's selling the equipment buying the supplies or bargaining for meat. My best guess is that he separated from her before she entered the town.

Really not liking this. It's already established that the people are struggling due to the dragon's rampages, and now this is making things worse. Yeah, it sucks that the kobold had to pay through the nose, but remember that this all loops back to the dragon.

My point is that this is likely to make the readers have more reason to see the dragon dead, which based on some of the previous installments, is not the intention of the comic.

considering how she gets screwed over with the armor it is clear that it is not about the dragon but about greed. the dragon is just an excuse like when huge companies tell you they have to pay more to their vendors so they have double the price even tho they don't even pay a 1% price increase themselves.
