Jimmy is being put through his paces with a EKG stress test on the treadmill.
For those who don't know, this is a test where the subject is connected to a full EKG, and have their heart and in this case, lung capacity monitored and measured.
There is also another test where the subject's vital functions are monitored & measured as oxygen intake is steadily reduced. The object is to determine whether the subject can make it up mount Everest. If his/her system will NOT adjust & adapt, if he/she has to drop out and await transport down at a waystation, resourses and such of the trekkers have been wasted.
Best that such be screened out at the start.
