Character Sheet for Xiu-Lian Li
Character Description
Xiu-lian is a student at the Briar School for the Academically Gifted, though for her it's more of an "Athleticly" gifted. She is the star player for the BSAG Gargoyles, with pretty much a guarantee she will get a spot on the professional team for the city, the Briarwood Phantoms, when she is of recruiting age. She is an exchange student from Woodlands, mostly because Woodlands does not have a professional team, Briarwood does.
Personality
Xiu-lian is kind of arrogant and stubborn, she is one of the best and she knows it, but she respects other capable athletes, which is why her best friend is Ariana, the rather terrifying goalie for the Gargoyles.
When her shell is cracked, Xiu-lian is always under immense pressure, and has severe anxiety. The only time she feels "At peace" is on the field. Anything else and she can barely function. This also gives her immense depression whenever she is hurt and can't practice. Last year she had a bad injury that sidelined her for six months, and she spent time upset she would never get better, her dreams would get smashed, etc.
Likes/Dislikes
Likes: Soccer, that's about it
Dislikes: Anything that isn't athletic, that she deems "lazy." She also hates missing practice, and god forbid anyone tells her to just enjoy the game for what it is.
Background/History
Xiu-lian was born in Woodlands on January 15th, 2263 to her parents, a mother and father. She grew up sheltered and pushed toward athletics, it helped she excelled early on in Woodlands as a part of the Woodlands Academy Acorns. She didn't have many friends, as she always took the game way too seriously. She transferred to Briarwood, at age 11, and was put on the Jr Gargoyles. She befriended another outcast, Ariana, who was also really good at the game, which gave her a training buddy. She rose up and joined the Gargoyles at age 12, and took the school leagues by storm, winning award after award, and leading her team to victory after victory. Ariana as the goalie also helped. Unfortunately, all those awards mean nothing when you're expected to just be more and more. Some days she wonders if she wants to go pro once she's 16 or not.

She has 2 parents, both unnamed. They live in Woodlands, since Briarwood is a boarding school.
World/Setting
Xiu-lian lives in Briarwood, Solara, Arcturus V in the year 2276. As such she is a part of my Arcturean universe.
Body
Xiu-lian is athletic, but notably slimmer than goalie Ariana. she's rather small by Arcturean standards for her age anyway. She stands 4'7" and is of average weight. She has a very light brown colored fur, brown eyes, and black hair with messy bangs and it goes to her shoulder blades. She has barely any breasts or butt to speak of, and no noticeable markings. She's also double jointed.
Clothing
Xiu-lian wears primarily biker shorts and skirts except when actually playing, then she has to wear the Gargoyles' uniform. She also likes any sort of frilly top to help her feel more girly. She likes blues and purples, rarely you'll see her in pink.
to bed she tends to wear a nightshirt just long enough to cover her, otherwise it's shorts and a sports bra or camisole.
Accessories
She has small hoop earrings in each ear, and a necklace with the word "princess" written in Chinese script on a silver heart.
