You know what the best method is to get rid of a barrier that absorbs energy from its captive? Overload the sucker! *laughs maniacally*

In this case instead of trying to overload it and exhausting yourself and everyone else and supercharging whatever the energy is going toward, it'd be a better case to see if you can't dig under it and harm it from the outside.

Teleporting beyond it is also possible if it doesn't have any anti-teleportation aspects to it.

Finding whatever the cores are that it's using as an anchor for the spell sustainment and destroying those would also work.  Using energy manipulation to alter the frequency of the barrier and create a bunch of weak points and putting enough pressure on it could also work.  Once you destabilize parts of it the rest of the structure should come down, and it would also make it easier to overload it without compromising yourself or strengthening whatever the energy is going toward.

No matter what though, given the radial energy drain affects what's inside the dome, not what's outside, and the barrier itself is meant to keep things inside, no one who made the barrier likely took into account outside threats so anything outside could break it with ease.
