Since 2019 I've made it a tradition to draw my doggo as the first art of the year, I went ahead and made it a bit more special with him starting the year taking a look at some of the memories he's gained over time!

Z-12 or "Zeta" is an amnesiac dog, a big part of his story is about him trying to come to terms with who he is and figuring out who he used to be.

For this first art of the year, I wanted to go for something a bit more symbolic, Zeta will never truly recover his memories or his old personality, and while he may mourn that, he has gained something even more valuable: New memories.

That's why now he is looking back at those new memories and feeling content with who he is now and his future!
