When Zachary is killed in the terrorist attack, Darcy loses control and her demonic side takes over, causing thousands of deaths and becoming an unstoppable being that no one can stop except Opal. Opal reaches out to her and they both mourn the loss of Zachary. Darcy finds peace being with Opal and the two form a relationship. Over time, Darcy is forgiven because everyone she killed were terrorists involved in many horrible acts in the world. Darcy then manages to control her demonic side and decides to fight the bad guys of the world as a superhero.
