Bre's her big sister, she just was being affectionate, since surge was being grumpy about wanting hugs and forehead kisses, without saying it, because it's surge. She doesn't ever SAY she wants her big sister to give her hugs and forehead kisses (except for bedtime, she loses all shame for goodnight forehead kisses and is unapologetic), she just gets grabbed for them, because bre knows her baby sister. She needs to be able to pretend the affection was against her will, so she still looks "cool".

You’re good. And I can understand the confusion. I haven’t posted any of my stuff I’ve had done with them here, so people would have more context. Bre tends to go “embarrassing, affectionate, mama” mode, whenever she’s giving surge affection like this when surge is grumpy.
It’s the more typical, forehead kisses and regular, picking her up for hugs, type of deal if it’s just Bre being normally affectionate. Or if surge is like, actually sad and having a bad mental day, she holds her closer in her lap, lets surge lean into the Left side of her chest, since surge prefers left sides, so she can listen to heartbeats, and gently kisses her forehead and rocks her in her lap for awhile, until surge feels better, or she falls asleep, while gently rubbing her head.

Bre is meant to be a big sister oc for Surge and kit, and right now, she's picking on surge by giving her affection for being grumpy, and secretly wanting it, but being, well, surge, not being able to just ASK bre for hugs and forehead and cheek kisses.
